Division B Director

Division B Director Nick Smith, DTM has been a Toastmaster since 2006.
Nick has served in every club officer position across three different Toastmaster Clubs during his time, and earned the Select Distinguished Area award in 2016-2017.
He achieved the DTM award in 2018.
He has served as the District 47 Video Lead, and helped out with and lead the District Conference A/V multiple years.
He was chosen as The District 47 Toastmaster of the Year in 2022-2023.
When he’s not Toastmastering, Nick is owner of Digital Power Solutions, a niche digital marketing firm. He has a 20 year background in information technology, entrepreneurship and real estate investing.

Driven by her commitment to personal development and community impact, Rachel believes in equipping individuals with the tools they need to thrive—whether in health, leadership, or public speaking. Through Toastmasters, she hopes to continue inspiring and empowering others on their journey to success.

Born and raised in Jamaica, I brought my drive and spirit to the US at 30, embarking on a dynamic career journey that now spans 20 years in technology. Beyond tech, my diverse background includes valuable experience in sales, management, recruitment, and human resources, complemented by various entrepreneurial ventures.
My personal commitment to excellence has always guided me, leading to numerous leadership roles where I’ve been fortunate to be described as an inspirational leader by my peers. A devoted father to my 14-year-old daughter, I’m deeply family-oriented and passionate about bringing people together and inspiring them to become their best selves. Giving back and actively building my community is core to my sense of identity.

Jeannie Cintrón is a dynamic marketing and education professional who joined Toastmasters in 2018 after moving from Puerto Rico to improve her English-speaking skills. Since then, she has grown into a dedicated leader within Plantation Toastmasters, serving in multiple roles, including President, VP of Education, VP of Membership, VP of Public Relations, and Secretary. With over 20 years of experience in marketing, promotions, and advertising—and 15 years in higher education—Jeannie brings creativity, strategy, and heart to everything she does. She recently launched her digital marketing agency, BizEdge Marketing, helping small businesses grow and thrive.
As Area 22 Director, Jeannie is committed to empowering members and helping clubs succeed. A lifelong learner and passionate traveler, she brings energy, vision, and a collaborative spirit to every challenge.

He has been an active Toastmaster since 2011, joining this phenomenal organization with the goal of enhancing his speaking and leadership skills. Over the past fourteen years, he has embraced numerous leadership opportunities across various clubs, most notably serving as President of the Plantation Club a few years ago. As of June 2025, he continues to contribute to the club’s success as its Vice President of Education.
While he remains a dedicated member of the Plantation Club, he is eager to explore other clubs to expand his experience and network within Toastmasters. Looking ahead, his journey includes continuing to serve Toastmasters in any capacity, with the ultimate goal of achieving the prestigious Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation.
Professionally, he works in Customer Service and aims to leverage Toastmasters to propel his career forward by refining his communication, leadership, and personal development skills.
