The Annual District Council Meeting to elect our officers for next year and District Finals for all speech contests will take place, There will also be education sessions and the opportunity to network, learn and have fun with Toastmasters from all over Southeast Florida and the Bahamas.

Starting Saturday, April 18th, we will have our Virtual Annual Business Meeting. There will be virtual events during the week and the In-Person conference will be April 24th – April 26th.

District 47 invites YOU to bring your voice, your passion, and your expertise to the island-inspired stage of our **2026 Annual Conference — Tropical Eloquence! **
From April 24–26, 2026, we will gather at the beautiful Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel & Convention Center for a refreshing weekend filled with learning, laughter, connection, and inspiration.
We’re searching for dynamic presenters who can help our members grow, shine, and ride the waves of personal transformation.
What We’re Looking For
District 47 is seeking experienced, engaging, and energetic presenters who can deliver sessions that uplift, educate, and expand the horizons of our members — much like a tropical sunrise.
We are recruiting:
🌴 Tropical Talks Presenters (4 minimum)
- Short, powerful 10–12 minute “mini-presentations” delivered back-to-back.
- Offered on Friday, April 24, 2026
Workshop Presenters (12 presenters)
- Inspirational and educational 40–45 minute breakout sessions.
- Offered on Saturday, April 25, 2026
We welcome fresh, innovative, mission-aligned topics that support communication, leadership, confidence, personal development, and the Toastmasters learning journey.
If your message can help our members grow like hibiscus in the sunshine — we want you on our island stage!
Note: Presenters must attend the conference in person.
