Sam Hague, ATB, is the Immediate Past President of the Venice area Toastmasters Club. He has served the club as President and Sgt. at Arms. Sam has been a member of Toastmasters for over 2 years and has had the privilege of being the contest master for the Area 31 International Speech and Table Topics contest as well as the chief Judge for the Area 31 Humorous Speech and Evaluation contest. He is a Licensed Mortgage Broker and Realtor for Guarantee Trust Mortgage and Exit Realty Gulf Coast in beautiful Venice FL. Sam is also a member of the Venice Regional Medical Center’s Healthcare Volunteers of Venice; he serves on the Venice Area Board of Realtors’ Scholarship Committee and is a guest speaker and member of the Advisory Board at Sarasota County Technical Institute. To paraphrase past international speech contest world champion Lance Miller, “…champion speakers walk out the door of the Toastmasters meeting…and make a difference!” Sam sees this statement manifest itself every day. He sees Toastmasters members make a difference in their communities, at their workplace and with all of those with whom they interact…and his life is all the richer for the experience.
