I have been a member of West Kendall Toastmasters for almost six years, but got seriously involved over the past four years! I served as the club Secretary for two years, and was the club President for the year 2007-2008. Recently, I joined the Yellow Rose Club, and look forward to sharing and learning with another diverse group of Toastmasters.

I am honored and absolutely elated to be the Area Governor for Area 54, 2008-2009. It is going to be an exciting year as the organization adjusts to the newly formed areas and districts, and I feel strongly that it will set the stage for significant growth within the organization.

As Area Governor, I will challenge the clubs in Area 54 to attain and or maintain Presidents Distinguished Club status, and will do whatever I can to assist them in reaching this goal. Each Area has been challenged by TI to charter at least one new club, so I am reaching out to all Area 54 members to spread the word about Toastmasters, since we know firsthand what it means to be a Toastmaster.
