I have a BSEE and MS in Management. I have worked for Honeywell, Clearwater, Florida, since 1970, in a variety of different functional organizational roles. I have contributed to nationally recognized space programs; such as, Viking Mars Lander, unmanned Titan and Centaur launches, and the manned Space Shuttle Program.

In 1983 I was the recipient of the Prestigious Honeywell Corporate Community Service Award. From 1985-1986, I was the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Science Center of Pinellas County. In 1986, I was selected by the St. Petersburg Chapter of Professional Secretaries International as “Executive of the Year”.

I have been an active member of the Saint Petersburg College Engineering Technology Advisory Board for 33 years, and have served as a part time evening instructor over the same time period.

I have been active with Toastmasters for four consecutive years. I am an Advanced Communicator Silver and I am working to achieve ACG and CL by December 2008.

I am the outgoing President of Honeywell Toastmasters Club 6273. During my term I has raised awareness and motivated others to improve their presentation effectiveness through Toastmasters. I am now proud to serve as the Area 71 Governor.
