The Area Governor of 75 is Shawn Purvis, CC. Shawn joined his home club of RJ Toastmasters (#2652) in October of 2006. Since joining, he has held the position of VP PR, Treasurer and President. He has competed in three speaking contests and recently reached the District Level in the 2008 International Contest. In April of this year, he became President of a club he helped form, Pro’s Like US (#1169566), Division G’s first Advanced Toastmasters Club. Shawn currently works for Raymond James & Associates in their Retirement Plan Services area. He is married to Robyn Punko (a fellow Toastmaster enthusiast) and has two daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie.
