Vanessa ScottVanessa joined Toastmasters in July 2003 to develop her listening skills. Though she was always able to speak, she discovered that she never allowed others to fully express themselves because she never listened attentively. Joining Toastmasters enabled her to develop speaking skills and taught her the disciplines needed to become a better leader. Vanessa served as Sergeant-at-Arms and President of Cousteau Club 7343 in Fresh Creek, Andros. She also served as a Mentor to Chickcharney Club 971904 in Nicolls Town, Andros. She is a Bank Manager at the Royal Bank of Canada and an accomplished and published Poet.
