It is an honor to serve as the Division C Director for Toastmasters District 47 for the 2026–2027 year. I am Omario Allen, a leader driven by purpose, a perspicacious approach to challenges, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. I believe leadership is not defined by a title, but by our ability to recognize potential, inspire others, and create environments where people can achieve more than they thought possible.
This year also marks an important personal milestone as I celebrate my 20th year as an IT professional. Today, I provide services in commercial networking, low-voltage systems, and life safety, while also pursuing various entrepreneurial ventures. Two decades in a constantly evolving industry have taught me the importance of adaptability, strategic thinking, continuous learning, and delivering results. Principles that strongly influence my approach to leadership.
My vision for Division C is to build a culture where excellence becomes our standard rather than simply our aspiration. I envision stronger clubs, empowered Area Directors, engaged members, greater collaboration, and an environment where innovative ideas are encouraged. Through accountability, communication, and mutual support, our leadership team will work to provide every club with the resources and encouragement necessary to flourish.
As we embark upon the 2026–2027 Toastmasters year, I am excited about what we can accomplish together. Every challenge presents an opportunity, and every member represents untapped potential. Together, we will learn, lead, innovate, and inspire. Building upon Division C’s successes while confidently pursuing even greater heights.
Toast of Las Olas completely changed how I see Toastmasters. Experiencing the culture, support, and opportunity in my home club showed me how something as simple as public speaking can bring a community together and transform lives. This year, I chose to serve so I can help create that same sense of culture in my Area—clubs where members feel supported to face their fear of speaking, connect more effectively with their audience, and grow in confidence every week
