Claudia is a dedicated clinical laboratory professional. Since 2017, she has been an active member of the Toastmasters community, taking on various leadership roles including Vice President of Education, Membership, and Public Relations. She currently serves as Sergeant at Arms for her home club, Universal Toastmasters. Claudia is committed to expanding her Toastmasters skills and fostering continuous personal growth.
Jose (JZ) Zirena was born in Lima, Peru. He moved to the States in 1973, where he finished high school and college. Jose has been in Miami for over 30 years, with a 5-year stint in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont.
JZ is a management consultant who enjoys working in Finance and Public Speaking, and has been actively engaged in Toastmasters for over 12 years.
Some of the assignments JZ has handled at Toastmasters include being President of Lima Toastmasters (Peru) and Perrine-Cutler Ridge Toastmasters (Florida). JZ was also President and Founder of Green Mountain Toastmasters (Vermont). More recently, he was the VP Membership for Doral Toastmasters.
JZ earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Bible College, an MA Diploma from the University of Lima, and an MBA from the University of West Georgia.
JZ is focused on helping others succeed and coaching executives in the fine art of Public Speaking. He loves sharing the stories he has learned through the challenges of life, and motivating others through the spoken word.
Jose Zirena has been married for over 36 years, has two grown sons, and two beautiful grandkids.
