Lona Fink joined Toastmasters International in June 2022. She was the Club President of a brand-new Toastmasters Club that was struggling to stay afloat. The Club relaunched in late October 2022 and made Select Distinguished their very first year.
In District 47, Lona is the Division D Director for the 2024-2025 fiscal year and a member of Sailfish Toastmasters. In District 81, Lona is the President of the Innovators Advanced Toastmasters Club (IATC) in Trinidad & Tobago.

Dawn Ferguson is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a professional background in both external and internal audit. A speaking opportunity at work sparked her desire to strengthen her public speaking skills, which led her to join Pinnacle Seekers Toastmasters Club 1513325 in 2021.
As John A. Shedd once said, “A ship in harbour is safe, but that’s not what ships are made for.” Like many, Dawn once found comfort in staying behind the scenes, but quickly realized that real growth only happens when you step outside of your comfort zone and into the unfamiliar. Since joining Toastmasters, she has embraced challenges that have stretched her limits and continues to sharpen her voice.
Although she initially joined to become a more confident speaker, she soon discovered that Toastmasters also offered numerous opportunities to grow as a leader. In 2022, Dawn stepped into her first executive role as Club Treasurer, and by 2024, she was elected Club President. Alongside her executive team, she has helped lead Pinnacle Seekers to Distinguished Club status.
Her tenure as President has deepened her understanding of the program and led her to take the next step in leadership as Area Director for the 2025–2026 term. In this role, Dawn intends to foster collaboration, increase member engagement, and create opportunities to attract new members.
Outside of Toastmasters, Dawn serves as Treasurer of the Alfred & Nancy Stuart Memorial Foundation and has held several leadership roles with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Bahamas Chapter, including Vice President, Membership & Certification; Vice President, Advocacy, and Acting Vice President, Corporate Affairs.
When she’s not working or serving, Dawn enjoys traveling, shooting pool, playing tennis, spending time with family and friends, and learning something new. She is also the proud mother of one amazing daughter and values every opportunity to grow personally and professionally while helping others do the same.
