I chose to serve this year because ever since serving as an Area Director in 2024-2025, I see the value of serving outside of my club and being of assistance to the District if I can. I also chose to serve this year to help enhance my leadership skills and to help empower others in the process. My personal vision for the Youth Leadership Program is to ensure more Toastmasters Clubs host a YLP Program this Toastmasters’ year and to bring more awareness as to how the Youth Leadership Program is positively impacting the communication and leadership skills of the younger generation, whom we are seeking to have as future Toastmasters.
Toastmaster Shari Hall is an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant, who is skilled in financial analysis and account reconciliations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Maryland, University College.
Shari joined the Toastmasters program making Healing Communicators Club 7178 her home club. Her goal in joining the program was to conquer her fear of public speaking while enhancing her leadership skills. She has diligently served her club as Treasurer (2024-2025), Vice President Public Relations (2025-2026), and is the current Vice President Membership.
Shari remains committed to fostering excellence in communication and leadership, upholding the values of Toastmasters International with professionalism, integrity, and dedication.
Charlene Henderson’s Toastmasters journey has been life-changing. She joined to become a better speaker and leader, and along the way, she has grown into a stronger storyteller, more confident communicator, and deeper believer in herself.
Guided by the principle “Each one, teach one,” Charlene is committed to giving back by encouraging and supporting others as they reach their goals. This year, she is excited to serve as TLI Co-chair, Area 81 Director, and President of her Bradenton Toastmasters club. She believes success comes through building relationships, focusing on shared goals, and helping others grow.
Outside of Toastmasters, Charlene is the proud mother of two outstanding young women and works from home as an Implementation Project Manager for a Human Capital Management company. She is passionate about using her talents to make a meaningful difference for members and future leaders within and beyond Toastmasters.
I have chosen to serve at this time because Toastmasters has transformed me from a willing participant into a confident servant leader. Through opportunities to serve at club, area, division, and district levels, I have grown tremendously, embraced diverse cultures, and built meaningful connections across our district. I chose to serve as the Division G Director because I love the program and I want to see my Division grow and spread Toastmasters to everyone or residence in that community be it a next door neighbor or a corporate worker. Toastmasters changed my life, and I want to help it change someone else’s.
I wanted to make sure that my division had a strong voice as we merge into our new district, and I wanted to help our members make a smooth transition into our new TM ‘home’.
