Division D Director

Ricardo has been a member of Toastmasters since 2014, holding various leadership roles such as VP of Membership, VP of Public Relations, VP of Education, and Club President for his clubs, including NCCI, Delray Newsmakers, and Superior Speakers Advanced. At the district level, he has served as the Florida Member Extension Chair for District 47’s Club Growth office, a club coach, and Area Director. He is currently the President of the Delray Newsmakers club and Vice President of Education for the Superior Speakers Advanced club. Ricardo has also won club contests in Humorous Speech, Evaluation, and Table Topics competitions. In 2024 he received his Distinguished Toastmaster award.
In his professional career, Ricardo is a technologist with over 20 years of experience in Information Technology. He specializes in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale software solutions for enterprises. He currently works for a company that sets workers’ compensation rates for insurance companies across the United States.
Outside of Toastmasters, Ricardo enjoys traveling with his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Kayla and Kyle.

Rev. DrChristine has been an active member of Toastmasters since 2019, proudly serving with
the Talking Heads of Stuart club. Her leadership journey includes two terms as Club President
and one as Vice President of Education. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in
transitioning the club to a hybrid meeting format post-COVID and led the club to achieve
President’s Distinguished status for three consecutive years. Christine is also a three-time
recipient of the Triple Crown award and has served as Contest Chair and Contest Master for
club-level contests.
Professionally, Christine dedicated her career to healthcare, working as a nurse and later as a
physician anesthesiologist. She is also an ordained metaphysical minister and a mindfulness
meditation teacher. Outside of her professional and Toastmasters commitments, she enjoys
acrylic painting, beading, beach outings, and cherishing moments with her granddaughter.
As Area Director, Christine is committed to supporting clubs in achieving excellence and
fostering a nurturing environment for personal and professional growth.

Dr. Donna Marks is a psychotherapist and an addictions counselor in Palm Beach, Florida. She developed an addiction training program at Palm Beach Community College, which has grown into a four-year degree and won the Florida Governor’s Council Award. She is certified in Gestalt therapy, Psychoanalysis, Hypnotherapy, and Sex Therapy. She authored Exit the Maze: One Addiction, One Cause, One Solution, and The Healing Moment: Seven Paths to Turn Messes into Miracles, available on Simon Schuster, Barnes & Noble, or Amazon bookstore. She shares her message on podcasts, radio, TV, and public speaking.

Mandy Chan is a passionate communicator, accomplished vocalist, and dedicated Toastmaster committed to helping others grow in confidence and leadership. As the founder of Risen Global Music Ministry, she uses her voice to inspire faith and unity through music, with performances ranging from cultural festivals to global events.
Mandy brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic leadership to Toastmasters, drawing from her background in corporate training, financial systems, and global outreach. Since joining Toastmasters, she has embraced every opportunity to serve, speak, and uplift others—believing that effective communication is key to personal and professional success.

Dr. Jacqueline A. Kovacs, DTM has been a member of Toastmasters since 2006 and earned her Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation in 2016. Throughout her Toastmasters journey, she has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Education, and Secretary. At the district level, she has served as Area 11 Director for Division A – District 47, a club coach, and a speaker for the installation of a new business club. She currently serves as the Vice President of Education for Gold Coast Toastmasters.
Jacqueline holds a Doctorate in Theology, a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Executive Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Liberty University. She considers herself a lifelong learner.
Professionally, Jacqueline has enjoyed a successful career in operations management, human services, and supervisory roles across federal, state, and private organizations. She currently serves as an adjunct professor and a board member at a Christian college. She is also a certified speaker, coach, and trainer with the Maxwell Leadership Team and is now dedicating her life to branching out as an aspiring author and mental health advocate.
Outside of Toastmasters, Jacqueline finds joy in serving at her church and volunteering in women’s prison ministries. She also enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband and traveling.
